Here are some Things I'm Loving and am thankful for lately.
* Cupcake sign.
I love this sign I found at Typo for my girl's baking corner.

She plays here for hours on end.
* Vintage sheet fabric squares.
I've been cutting squares to make my first ever quilt.
I think I have enough now to start sewing.
Pretty fabric makes me smile.
* Surprise flowers from the Dr.
Appallingly, I didn't notice them until he pointed them out.
Thankfully he is forgiving.
* Making Biscotti.
I enjoy making Biscotti.
I stand them on the tray like this to speed up the second baking
and to fit much more in the oven at once.
* Community working bee.
Our family contribution was de-heading flowers together one evening,
with kids in their pj's.

I hope you have a lot to be thankful for too.
Tee hee, that made me giggle about the flowers :o) My Hubby brought me flowers home a couple of days before Valentines day and I thought to myself - these HAVE to have been free because he NEVER pays for fresh flowers! I didn't say anything though and it turned out I didn't have to because he soon admitted that he and several other guys at work who had helped out with a recent public service event were all given flowers as a thank you from a local business! So I was right, they WERE free but still nice :o)
ReplyDeletei hope you guys weren't overly helpful and picked up all the deheaded agapanthus this time!! hehe ;)
