A Very Mini Monster

My 8 year old No.2 son really wanted to make something on his sick day today.
He chose this felt Mini Monster.
I was a little sceptical, as it was so tiny.
But, he loved doing it and did most of it himself,
blanket stitch for the first time and all.

He then made the monster its own Lego wheels.

It always gives me such joy when my boys
show an interest in doing something creative.
The pattern was from this Microcrafts book,
which I gifted him for his 8th birthday.

He's already eyed up a few more tiny things to make from this book,
including a nappy for the monster!
(Yes, there is a pattern for one)

And, he is much better and back to school tomorrow.
